(2.) Licensing of Corporate Agents

Anyone can incorporate a company in Belize if they follow the proper requirements and meet the minimum obligations to form a corporation.

(3.) Name of Company

Companies may not have identical names to companies already in existence. A company may change its name by written permission of the Minister.

(4.) Governing Law

This former British colony modeled on English law, contains statutory provisions relating to companies in the Companies Acts 1914-1998.29
