Belize - Visa Requirements
By Brett_Bumeter | February 23, 2008
Citizens of the following countries do not require a Visa to travel to Belize if they possess a valid passport and a round trip or continuing airline ticket:European Union, United States of America, British Commonwealth (Excluding India), Costa Rica, Mexico and Austria.[1] Visitors from these countries may alternatively attain a valid visitor’s permit for a thirty-day duration at a border crossing or airport. To extend this permit past thirty days, it is necessary to visit an immigration office. The fee for this extension is $25 US.
Other citizens can obtain visas for $25 US from the nearest Belizean embassy or consulate or from a British embassy or consulate if the Belize does not maintain such in your country. Finally, as a last resort a Visa may be obtained from the immigration office at Philip Goldson International Airport in Belize.[2]
